Every few years someone writes the obituary for radio. And every few years the RAJAR figures come out and prove them wrong. This year is no different — and some commentators are finally asking whether radio might actually be the last medium standing.
"There's something about the live, shared experience of radio that streaming simply can't replicate," says media analyst Dr. Helen Forsythe. "When something big happens, people turn on the radio. That's not going anywhere."
